Ingredients
- 500g shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 5 shallots
- 5 red chili peppers

- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
Instructions
- Grind the shallots, red chili peppers, and garlic into a smooth paste using a mortar and pestle or a food processor.
- Heat the cooking oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the ground paste to the pan and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the pan and cook until they turn pink and opaque.
- Add the tomatoes, tamarind paste, sugar, and salt to the pan. Stir well to combine.
- Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
