Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 cup mixed berries (such as raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine the flour, cold cubed butter, granulated sugar, and salt. Pulse until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  2. Gradually add the cold water and pulse until the dough comes together.
  3. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  5. In a bowl, toss the mixed berries with granulated sugar and cornstarch.
  6. Roll out the chilled dough on a floured surface and transfer it to a tart pan. Trim any excess dough.
