Udmurt Chicken and Mushroom Stir-Fry (Курица с грибами)

Ingredients

  • 500g chicken breast, sliced
  • 300g mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the chicken and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
  3. Push the chicken to one side of the skillet and add the onions and garlic. Cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
  4. Add the mushrooms and cook until they release their liquid and start to brown, about 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in the soy sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and serve hot.
