Ingredients
- 4 large bell peppers
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, cooked rice, onion, garlic, tomato, tomato sauce, paprika, salt, pepper, and parsley.
- Stuff the bell peppers with the meat mixture and place them in a large pot.
- Add water to the pot until the peppers are halfway submerged.
- Cover the pot and cook the peppers over medium heat for 1 hour, or until the meat is fully cooked and the peppers are tender.
- Remove the stuffed peppers from the pot and serve hot.
