Uga (coconut Crab) Spring Rolls
These Uga Spring Rolls are a delicious Niuean dish that combines the flavors of coconut crab with fresh vegetables, wrapped in a crispy spring roll wrapper.
Ingredients
- 1 pound cooked uga (coconut crab meat)
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1/2 cup bean sprouts
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 12 spring roll wrappers
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the uga, cabbage, carrot, bean sprouts, garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
- Place a spoonful of the uga mixture onto a spring roll wrapper and fold according to package instructions.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the spring rolls until golden brown and crispy.
