Umu Umu Shrimp Stir-fry

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 4 green onions, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Set aside.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the shrimp and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until pink and cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the bell peppers, snap peas, green onions, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  4. Return the shrimp to the skillet and pour the sauce over the shrimp and vegetables. Stir-fry for an additional 1-2 minutes until everything is heated through and coated in the sauce.
