Ingredients

  • 2 green mangoes, peeled and julienned
  • 3 red chilies, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup grated coconut
  • 2 shallots, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon palm sugar
  • 2 kaffir lime leaves, finely shredded
  • 1 lemongrass stalk, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the green mango, red chilies, grated coconut, shallots, salt, and palm sugar.
  2. Add the kaffir lime leaves and lemongrass, and toss to combine.
  3. Heat a small pan over medium heat and toast the coconut until golden brown.
  4. Sprinkle the toasted coconut over the salad and toss gently.
  5. Serve the spicy green mango salad immediately.
