Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs beef stew meat, cut into chunks
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the beef and brown on all sides. Remove the beef from the pot and set aside.
