Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 onions, chopped
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 3 potatoes, peeled and cubed

- 1 sweet potato, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 small cabbage, chopped
- 2 chorizo sausages, sliced
- 1 can of white beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 6 cups chicken broth
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the chicken pieces over medium heat for 5 minutes.
- Add the onions and cook until translucent.
- Stir in the carrots, potatoes, sweet potato, corn, cabbage, and chorizo.
- Pour in the chicken broth and add the bay leaf, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer for 30 minutes, then add the white beans and continue to simmer for another 15 minutes.
- Adjust seasoning if needed and serve hot.
