Ingredients

  • 1 block of firm tofu, cubed
  • 1 cup bamboo shoots, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2-3 green chilies, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add the sliced onions, green chilies, ginger, and garlic. Sauté until the onions are translucent.
  2. Add the cubed tofu and sliced bamboo shoots to the pan. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until the tofu is lightly browned.
  3. Season with turmeric and salt, and continue to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and serve hot.
