Uzvar Uprising
Uzvar Uprising is a traditional Ukrainian drink made from dried fruits and is often served during special occasions and holidays. This refreshing beverage is easy to make and can be enjoyed hot or cold.

Ingredients
- 8 cups water
- 1 cup dried apples
- 1 cup dried pears
- 1 cup dried plums
- 1 cup dried apricots
- 1 cup honey or sugar (optional, to taste)
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.
- Add the dried fruits to the boiling water and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 20-30 minutes, or until the fruits are soft and the water has taken on their flavor.
- Remove the pot from the heat and let the uzvar cool slightly.
- If desired, add honey or sugar to sweeten the uzvar to taste.
- Strain the uzvar to remove the fruits and serve it hot or cold.
