Ingredients
- 1 pound veal, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the veal slices and cook until browned. Remove the veal from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and mushrooms. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
- Sprinkle the flour over the vegetables and stir to combine.
- Pour in the beef broth and bring to a simmer, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
- Return the veal to the skillet and stir in the sour cream. Cook for a few more minutes until the veal is heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
