Ingredients

  • 1 pound veal, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the veal slices and cook until browned. Remove the veal from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and mushrooms. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
  4. Sprinkle the flour over the vegetables and stir to combine.
  5. Pour in the beef broth and bring to a simmer, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
  6. Return the veal to the skillet and stir in the sour cream. Cook for a few more minutes until the veal is heated through.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
