Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup ghee (clarified butter)
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds and pistachios for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour and ghee to form a smooth batter.
  2. Heat ghee in a deep frying pan and pour a ladleful of batter in the center to form a ring. Fry until golden brown and crispy.
  3. In a separate pan, heat milk and sugar, and simmer until it thickens. Add cardamom powder for flavor.
  4. Place the fried ghevar in a serving dish and pour the thickened milk over it.
  5. Garnish with sliced almonds and pistachios.
