Ingredients

  • 2 cups full-fat milk
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp chopped pistachios

Instructions

  1. In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat the milk over medium heat.
  2. Once the milk comes to a boil, reduce the heat and let it simmer for 1.5 hours, stirring occasionally, until it reduces to half its original quantity.
  3. Add the powdered sugar and cardamom powder to the reduced milk and mix well. Let it cool to room temperature.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a mixing bowl and whisk vigorously for 5-7 minutes until it becomes frothy and light.
  5. Divide the frothy mixture into serving bowls and garnish with chopped pistachios.
