Ingredients
- 2 cups full-fat milk
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
- 2 tbsp chopped pistachios
Instructions
- In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat the milk over medium heat.
- Once the milk comes to a boil, reduce the heat and let it simmer for 1.5 hours, stirring occasionally, until it reduces to half its original quantity.
- Add the powdered sugar and cardamom powder to the reduced milk and mix well. Let it cool to room temperature.
- Transfer the mixture to a mixing bowl and whisk vigorously for 5-7 minutes until it becomes frothy and light.
- Divide the frothy mixture into serving bowls and garnish with chopped pistachios.
