Ingredients

  • 3 cups self-raising flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 80g butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup Vegemite
  • 1 1/2 cups grated tasty cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the self-raising flour and milk to form a soft dough.
  3. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle, about 1cm thick.
  4. Spread the Vegemite evenly over the dough, then sprinkle the grated cheese on top.
  5. Starting from the long edge, roll the dough up tightly to form a log.
  6. Cut the log into 12 equal pieces and place them on the prepared baking tray.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes or until the scrolls are golden and the cheese is melted.
