Ingredients
- 8 oz lo mein noodles
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, julienned
- 1 yellow bell pepper, julienned
- 1 cup snow peas
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tsp sriracha (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
Instructions
- Boil the lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add the julienned bell peppers, snow peas, and shredded carrots to the skillet. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sriracha. Pour the sauce over the vegetables in the skillet.
- Add the cooked lo mein noodles to the skillet and toss to combine with the vegetables and sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.
