Venison Snack Sticks
These venison snack sticks are a delicious and protein-packed snack that is perfect for on-the-go or as a party appetizer.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground venison
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp liquid smoke
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/4 tsp curing salt
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground venison, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, liquid smoke, cayenne pepper, paprika, red pepper flakes, and curing salt. Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 200°F (93°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
- Form the venison mixture into snack sticks and place them on the wire rack.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 4 hours, or until the snack sticks reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
- Allow the snack sticks to cool before serving or storing.
