Vietnamese Coffee Tiramisu (Bánh tiramisu cà phê)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup strong brewed Vietnamese coffee, cooled
  • 250g mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese and powdered sugar. Mix until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.
  4. Dip each ladyfinger cookie into the cooled Vietnamese coffee and arrange them in a single layer in a serving dish.
  5. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the layer of soaked ladyfingers.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining ladyfinger cookies and mascarpone mixture.
  7. Sift cocoa powder over the top layer of the tiramisu.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
