Vietnamese Crawfish
Vietnamese crawfish is a delicious and flavorful dish that combines the bold flavors of Vietnamese cuisine with the succulent taste of crawfish.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs live crawfish
- 3 tbsp fish sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 shallots, finely chopped
- 2 red chilies, sliced
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
Instructions
- Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil.
- Add the live crawfish to the pot and cook for 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a large wok or skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the garlic, shallots, and red chilies. Cook until fragrant.
- Add the cooked crawfish to the wok and stir in the fish sauce.
- Cook for an additional 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and garnish with cilantro, green onions, and lime wedges.
