Ingredients

Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crumbled rum cake and dark rum. Mix until well combined and the mixture holds together.
- Roll the rum cake mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
- In a heatproof bowl, combine the chopped chocolate and heavy cream. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Dip the chilled rum cake balls into the chocolate mixture, coating them evenly. Place them back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Refrigerate the truffles for another 15 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.
- Once set, roll the truffles in unsweetened cocoa powder to coat the outside.
- Store the truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
