Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine the chopped walnuts, parsley, dill, cilantro, garlic, cumin, turmeric, salt, and pepper.
- Make a horizontal slit in each chicken breast to create a pocket.
- Stuff each chicken breast with the walnut and herb mixture.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the stuffed chicken breasts until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
