Ingredients

  • 1 pound walrus meat, thinly sliced
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a simmer over medium heat.
  2. While the broth is simmering, prepare the wontons by placing a small amount of walrus meat in the center of each wonton wrapper. Fold the wrapper in half to form a triangle, then press the edges to seal.
  3. Add the green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic to the simmering broth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Gently drop the wontons into the broth and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until they float to the surface and are cooked through.
  5. Serve the soup hot, garnished with additional green onions if desired.
