Wasabi Wonder Wings (わさびの驚異ウィングス)
These Wasabi Wonder Wings are a spicy and flavorful twist on classic chicken wings. The combination of crispy wings and a zesty wasabi sauce will have your taste buds dancing with delight.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-2 tsp wasabi paste
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
- Green onions, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the chicken wings on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until crispy and cooked through.
- In a small saucepan, combine the soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, ginger, garlic, and wasabi paste. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Once the wings are cooked, transfer them to a large bowl and pour the wasabi sauce over them. Toss to coat the wings evenly.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
