Ingredients
- 4 sheets of nori (seaweed)
- 2 cups sushi rice, cooked
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 small cucumber, julienned
- 1 small carrot, julienned
- 1 ripe avocado, sliced
- 4 imitation crab sticks
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1-2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
Instructions
- Prepare sushi rice according to package instructions. In a small bowl, mix the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. Gently fold the vinegar mixture into the cooked sushi rice.
- Place a sheet of nori on a bamboo sushi mat. Spread a thin layer of sushi rice evenly over the nori, leaving a small border at the top.
- Arrange the cucumber, carrot, avocado, and crab sticks in a line across the center of the rice. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and drizzle with sriracha sauce.
- Roll the sushi tightly using the bamboo mat, sealing the edge with a little water. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
- Cut each roll into 6 pieces using a sharp knife. Serve with soy sauce, pickled ginger, and wasabi.
