Ingredients

  • 4 sheets of nori (seaweed)
  • 2 cups sushi rice, cooked

  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  • 1 small cucumber, julienned
  • 1 small carrot, julienned
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • 4 imitation crab sticks
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1-2 tablespoons sriracha sauce

Instructions

  1. Prepare sushi rice according to package instructions. In a small bowl, mix the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. Gently fold the vinegar mixture into the cooked sushi rice.
  2. Place a sheet of nori on a bamboo sushi mat. Spread a thin layer of sushi rice evenly over the nori, leaving a small border at the top.
  3. Arrange the cucumber, carrot, avocado, and crab sticks in a line across the center of the rice. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and drizzle with sriracha sauce.
  4. Roll the sushi tightly using the bamboo mat, sealing the edge with a little water. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
  5. Cut each roll into 6 pieces using a sharp knife. Serve with soy sauce, pickled ginger, and wasabi.
