Welsh Dragon's Breath Brisket

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs beef brisket
  • 2 tbsp Welsh Dragon's Breath spice blend
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F.
  2. Season the brisket with the Welsh Dragon's Breath spice blend, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the sliced onion and minced garlic in the bottom of a roasting pan.
  4. Place the seasoned brisket on top of the onions and garlic.
  5. Pour the beef broth and red wine vinegar over the brisket.
  6. Cover the roasting pan with foil and place it in the preheated oven.
  7. Cook for 3-4 hours, or until the brisket is tender.
  8. Remove the foil and continue cooking for an additional 30 minutes to allow the brisket to brown.
  9. Once done, let the brisket rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
