Wonton Soup (sopa Wantan)

Ingredients
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1/4 cup finely chopped shrimp
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 24 square wonton wrappers
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup sliced bok choy
- 1/2 cup sliced shiitake mushrooms
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the ground pork, chopped shrimp, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and green onions.
- Place a small spoonful of the pork mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, then fold the wrapper in half to create a triangle. Press the edges to seal.
- In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a simmer. Add the bok choy, shiitake mushrooms, and rice vinegar. Season with salt and pepper.
- Gently drop the wontons into the simmering broth and cook for about 5 minutes, or until they float to the surface and are cooked through.
- Serve the wonton soup hot, garnished with additional chopped green onions if desired.
