Wraps De Frango Piri Piri (piri Piri Chicken Wraps)

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons Piri Piri sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 large tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the Piri Piri sauce, olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken breasts and coat them with the marinade. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken breasts for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked. Remove from heat and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing them into strips.
  3. Warm the tortillas in the skillet for about 30 seconds on each side.
  4. Spread a layer of mayonnaise on each tortilla, then top with shredded lettuce, diced tomato, and sliced chicken. Sprinkle with chopped cilantro.
  5. Roll up the tortillas, tucking in the sides to create a wrap. Cut in half and serve.
