Xiang Su Fen, also known as Fragrant Rice Noodles, is a popular dish from Guangxi Cuisine known for its aromatic flavors and delicate texture. This dish is a perfect combination of rice noodles, savory broth, and a variety of toppings, making it a satisfying and comforting meal.
Ingredients
- 300g rice noodles
- 500ml vegetable broth
- 100g sliced mushrooms
- 100g sliced carrots
- 50g snow peas
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp white pepper
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Boil the rice noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a pot, bring the vegetable broth to a simmer and add the mushrooms, carrots, and snow peas. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Stir in the soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and white pepper. Simmer for another 2 minutes.
- Divide the cooked rice noodles into serving bowls and ladle the hot broth and vegetables over the noodles.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
