Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the ground pork, soy sauce, sesame oil, green onions, ginger, sugar, and black pepper until well combined.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the flour and water to form a dough. Knead the dough for 5 minutes, then cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  3. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and roll each piece into a small circle.
  4. Place a spoonful of the pork mixture in the center of each dough circle. Pleat and seal the edges to form a bun.
  5. Place the stuffed buns in a steamer and steam for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
