Ingredients
- 2 cups jasmine rice
- 1 lb smoked pork belly, sliced
- 3 cups water
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 inch ginger, sliced
Instructions
- Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- Place the rinsed rice in a steamer basket and add the water, salt, green onions, and ginger.
- Arrange the sliced smoked pork belly on top of the rice.
- Cover the steamer and place it over high heat. Once the water starts boiling, reduce the heat to low and steam for 1 hour.
- Once done, remove the steamer from the heat and let it sit for 5 minutes before uncovering.
- Fluff the rice with a fork and serve the Xun Rou Fan hot.
