Ingredients
- 1 block of firm tofu
- 3 tablespoons of miso paste
- 2 tablespoons of mirin
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- 1 green onion, thinly sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
- Press the tofu to remove excess water, then cut it into 1-inch thick slices.
- In a bowl, mix the miso paste, mirin, soy sauce, and sugar to make the marinade.
- Coat the tofu slices with the marinade and let them sit for 10 minutes.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat and grill the tofu slices for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the grilled tofu to a serving plate and garnish with sliced green onions.
