Ingredients

  • 200g Yarsagumba mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 3 tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute. Then, add the tomato puree and cook until the oil separates.
  3. Now, add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for a few minutes.
  4. Add the sliced Yarsagumba mushrooms and mix gently. Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes on low heat.
  5. Sprinkle garam masala and garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
