Ingredients
- 4 chicken drumsticks
- 4 chicken thighs
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, vegetable oil, garlic, ginger, cayenne pepper, paprika, black pepper, and salt to create the marinade.
- Place the chicken pieces in a large resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the grill for medium heat and lightly oil the grate.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and shake off excess. Discard the remaining marinade.
- Grill the chicken on the preheated grill, turning occasionally, until the chicken is no longer pink at the bone and the juices run clear, about 40 minutes.
