Ingredients

  • 4 chicken drumsticks
  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, vegetable oil, garlic, ginger, cayenne pepper, paprika, black pepper, and salt to create the marinade.
  2. Place the chicken pieces in a large resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the grill for medium heat and lightly oil the grate.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and shake off excess. Discard the remaining marinade.
