Ingredients

  • 4 whole tilapia, cleaned and gutted
  • 1 tablespoon ground cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 lemon, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Rub the tilapia with vegetable oil and the spice mixture, making sure to coat both sides.
  4. Place the sliced lemon inside the cavity of the tilapia.
  5. Grill the tilapia for 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and has grill marks.
  6. Remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
