Ingredients
- 2 cups jasmine rice
- 4 cups water
- 1 stalk lemongrass, bruised
- 4 kaffir lime leaves

- 1/2 cup coconut milk
Instructions
- Wash the rice until the water runs clear, then drain.
- In a large pot, combine the rice, water, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, turmeric leaf, turmeric powder, and salt.
- Cook over medium heat until the water is absorbed, about 15-20 minutes.
- Stir in the coconut milk and continue to cook for another 5-10 minutes until the rice is fluffy and fully cooked.
- Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
