Ingredients
- 12 large button mushrooms, stems removed and reserved
- 1/2 cup finely chopped water chestnuts
- 1/4 cup finely chopped bamboo shoots
- 1/4 cup finely chopped carrots
- 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup finely chopped shiitake mushrooms
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Finely chop the mushroom stems and place them in a bowl.
- Add water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, carrots, green onions, shiitake mushrooms, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper to the bowl with the chopped mushroom stems. Mix well to combine.
- Spoon the filling into the mushroom caps, mounding slightly.
- Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the filling is golden brown.
