Ingredients

  • 2 lotus roots, peeled and sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a wok over high heat.
  2. Add ginger and garlic, and stir-fry until fragrant.
  3. Add lotus root slices and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add bell peppers and continue to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  6. Pour the sauce into the wok and stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes.
  7. Transfer to a serving dish and serve hot.
