Yummy Kymyz Soup with Mint (Кымызный суп с мятой)

Ingredients

  • 1 liter kymyz
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
  3. Pour in the kymyz and bring to a simmer.
  4. Add the chopped mint leaves, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Simmer for 10 minutes, then remove from heat.
  6. Serve the kymyz soup hot, garnished with additional mint leaves if desired.
