Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs (700g) lamb, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/4 cup (60ml) soy sauce
- 2 tbsp (30ml) rice wine
- 2 tbsp (30ml) honey
- 2 tsp (10g) cumin powder
- 2 tsp (10g) chili powder
- 1 tsp (5g) Sichuan peppercorns, crushed
- 1/4 cup (60ml) vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup (60ml) chopped cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, rice wine, honey, cumin powder, chili powder, Sichuan peppercorns, and vegetable oil to make the marinade.
- Add the lamb cubes to the marinade and coat them evenly. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated lamb cubes onto skewers.
- Grill the lamb skewers for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove the lamb skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot.
