Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs pork shoulder, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp five-spice powder
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup chopped scallions
- 12 bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the pork, garlic, soy sauce, honey, vegetable oil, five-spice powder, black pepper, salt, and scallions. Mix well to ensure the pork is evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated pork onto the soaked bamboo skewers.
- Grill the pork skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the pork is cooked through and slightly charred on the edges.
