Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs
- 2 stalks lemongrass, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, sliced
- 2 red chilies, sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice wine
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Rinse the chicken thighs and pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, combine the chopped lemongrass, minced garlic, sliced ginger, sliced red chilies, soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice wine, sugar, salt, and black pepper.
- Place the chicken thighs in a shallow dish and pour the lemongrass mixture over the chicken, making sure to coat each piece evenly. Marinate for 15 minutes.
- Place the dish in a steamer over boiling water and steam for 20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- In a small saucepan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Once the chicken is cooked, transfer it to a serving plate and pour the hot oil and broth mixture over the chicken.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
