Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons za'atar seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the za'atar, salt, and black pepper. Rub the mixture all over the chicken thighs.
  3. Place the chicken on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  4. While the chicken is roasting, prepare the garlic yogurt sauce by combining the yogurt, minced garlic, olive oil, and lemon juice in a bowl. Season with salt to taste.
  5. Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
  6. Serve the roasted chicken with the garlic yogurt sauce, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
