- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, combine the diced mangoes, sugar, vinegar, salt, ginger, cinnamon, and red pepper flakes.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chutney has thickened.
- Remove the chutney from the heat and let it cool to room temperature before transferring it to a clean, airtight jar.
- Refrigerate the chutney for at least 24 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
