Ingredients
- 2 cups chopped spinach
- 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 package of store-bought puff pastry sheets
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, feta cheese, mozzarella cheese, green onions, minced garlic, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into squares of desired size.
- Place a spoonful of the spinach and cheese mixture onto each pastry square.
- Brush the edges of the pastry with the beaten egg, then fold the pastry over the filling to form a triangle. Press the edges to seal.
- Place the samsas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, brush the tops with the remaining beaten egg, and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
