Zheng Dou Fu Gu, or Steamed Stuffed Mushrooms, is a classic dish from the Huaiyang Cuisine, known for its delicate flavors and meticulous preparation.
Ingredients
- 12 large button mushrooms
- 200g ground pork
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon minced ginger
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems. Set aside.
- In a bowl, mix the ground pork, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, green onions, ginger, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff the mushroom caps with the pork mixture.
- Place the stuffed mushrooms in a steamer and steam for 15 minutes.
- Once cooked, serve hot and enjoy!
