Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped scallions
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp Shaoxing wine
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper
  • 24 round dumpling wrappers

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground pork, scallions, soy sauce, sesame oil, Shaoxing wine, ginger, sugar, and white pepper.
  2. Place a small spoonful of the pork mixture in the center of each dumpling wrapper. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, then fold and pleat to seal the dumplings.
  3. Arrange the dumplings in a single layer in a steamer basket lined with parchment paper.
  4. Steam the dumplings over boiling water for 12-15 minutes, until cooked through.
  5. Serve hot with soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
