Ingredients
- 500g pork ribs
- 200g bamboo shoots, sliced
- 3 slices ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Shaoxing wine
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- 3 cups water
Instructions
- In a pot, blanch the pork ribs in boiling water for 5 minutes. Remove and rinse under cold water.
- Heat some oil in a wok or pot, and sauté the ginger, garlic, and green onions until fragrant.
- Add the pork ribs and bamboo shoots, then pour in the soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, sugar, salt, and white pepper. Stir well.
- Pour in the water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 1 hour, or until the pork ribs are tender.
- Adjust the seasoning if needed, then serve hot.
