Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh bamboo shoots, peeled and sliced
- 3 tbsp cooking oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, minced
- 1 red chili, sliced (optional)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Heat the cooking oil in a wok or skillet over high heat.
- Add the garlic, ginger, and red chili. Stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the bamboo shoots and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
- Season with soy sauce, sugar, and salt. Stir well.
- Pour in the water and continue to stir-fry for another 2 minutes until the bamboo shoots are tender-crisp.
- Transfer to a serving dish and serve hot.
