Ingredients
- 1 lb beef, thinly sliced
- 1 cup bamboo shoots, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, Shaoxing wine, sugar, and cornstarch. Set aside.
- Season the beef with salt and pepper.
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
- Add the beef slices and stir-fry until browned, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the bamboo shoots and continue to stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and bamboo shoots. Stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the ingredients.
- Transfer to a serving dish and serve hot with steamed rice.
