Zwiebelkuchen Tartlets

Ingredients

  • 1 package of puff pastry
  • 3 large onions, thinly sliced
  • 200g bacon, diced
  • 200g sour cream
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into circles to fit the tartlet molds.
  3. In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté the onions until caramelized.
  5. In a bowl, mix the sour cream, eggs, caramelized onions, and bacon. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Spoon the onion and bacon mixture into the prepared tartlet molds.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the tartlets are golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
